In early Spring 2017, there was a meeting between 2 relentless networkers and community builders to get together and discuss the future of events: The spark of change!
Summer 2017 was the time to meet many event organizers from different event types and meetup groups: from tech events to conferences and industry events.
The Deal Room idea onboarded developers and digitalization professionals and in October 2017 was the first event that Deal Room platform was used by an industry event. 2017 was the year that Deal Room was used by 5 events in Nordic Europe.
Deal Room extended its borders in 2018. Event management extended to all Europe and South-East Asia. The User Experience was totally redesigned with a new flow and new User Interface to better serve event participants while growing and partnering with more event professionals. Deal Room managed to close 2018 with over 40 events in 16 countries.
In 2019, Deal Room expanded the team and added new skills such as Artificial Intelligence, Marketing and Branding, Design and Salespeople. Deal Room launched the new user interface, community builder tools and better algorithms to match and connect event visitors. Deal Room launched native apps for Android and iOS.
2020 was the year Deal Room extended its product and value scope. Deal Room responded to the global pandemic crisis remarkably fast and deployed an online event management platform with webinar, online workshop, roundtable, networking and online 1 on 1 meeting functions. Deal Room event management platform successfully ran over 200 events in 42 countries with users joining from 78 countries.
2021 started fast! Deal Room event management platform expanded to North America, Middle East, and North Africa markets with its new team members. With the resumption of in-person in 2022, Deal Room experts keep on providing solutions to virtual, in-person and hybrid conferences, webinars, summits, fairs, workshops: basically any type of event.
